Which apps can I use it with?
Appbase has a React Native SDK for Expo and bare React Native apps, and a native Swift SDK for iOS. Track app opens automatically, then add explicit events for your onboarding, paywalls and features.
Do I need RevenueCat?
Only for subscription and revenue reports. Onboarding, paywall views, app activity, retention, feature usage and feedback work with the Appbase SDK. Connect RevenueCat to add verified trial and payment outcomes.
What access does the RevenueCat connection need?
Connect with a scoped RevenueCat secret API key and choose your app. Appbase reads subscription data and manages its own webhook to receive billing events. Credentials are encrypted and kept on the backend. OAuth is offered when it is available for your workspace.
Can my coding agent set everything up?
Copy your private setup prompt from the dashboard into your app repository’s coding agent. It can create your Appbase app, install the SDK, instrument your screens and check development delivery. You authorize RevenueCat access when you want to connect billing. Manual setup is available too.
Will my test events affect production?
Development and production have separate collection keys and datasets. Your app chooses the appropriate key for each build, and RevenueCat sandbox purchases are mapped separately from real purchases.
